Artist, Teacher, Mentor – 12pm – 5pm – Belen Art League – A special exhibition honoring the long and wonderful relationships that have grown over the years will be on display at the Belen Art League Gallery and Gifts, 509 Becker Ave., from March 6-29.
Saturday, March 30th
VIN Etching – 9am – 2pm – St. Mary’s Catholic School – The Los Lunas and Belen police department will be teaming up to offer VIN etching from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at St. Mary’s Catholic School, 101 N. 10th St., Belen. VIN etching is a permanent engraving of the vehicle’s registered vehicle identification number onto its windshield and windows. All monetary donations will go to St. Mary’s.
Guitar Lessons for Kids – 10am – 12pm – Belen Public Library – Guitar lessons are offered at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the Belen Public Library. Lessons are also free and open to the public, ages 5-15. Guitars are available for children to use during the lessons, and to check-out so they can practice at home.

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – Historic Tomé Jail and Casita – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
Belen Art League’s Annual Mad Hatter Scholarship Tea – 12pm – 3:30pm – Belen Art League – There will be two sittings – 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Belen Art League, 509 Becker Ave., Belen, will hold its annual scholarship fundraiser, Mad Hatter Tea Party, with two sittings at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 30. Prizes will be given to the winners of the hat contest. An art raffle will also be held. Tickets are $20 for those 10 years of age and older. All tickets must be purchased for in advance at the gallery or by phone at 505-861-0217.
