Guitar Lessons for Kids – 10am – 12pm – Belen Public Library – Guitar lessons are offered at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the Belen Public Library. Lessons are also free and open to the public, ages 5-15. Guitars are available for children to use during the lessons, and to check-out so they can practice at home.

1st Annual Valencia County Family Fun Day – 10am-3pm – Anna Becker Park – The 1st Annual Valencia County Family Fun Day is brought to you by the La Merced Moose Riders, with help from our local heroes – Police and Fire Departments. It is a FREE event with Food, Game, Dunk Tank, and Jumpers!

Spring Craft Fair at Black’s Smuggler Winery – 10am-4:30pm – Black’s Smuggler Winery – Great Craft Fair with local artists and crafts people, a yummy food truck, a very fine coffee truck, free drawings and adult beverages to sample and buy!

Cordova. Opening Reception: May 3, 2025 12-5pm | Beer Garden by Hub City Brewery 12-5pm | Music by Aaron Solis 2-4pm. This exhibition is the epilogue of the hotel’s voluminous life. The exhibition features photographs that capture the historic Kuhn Hotel (1913-2025) in its final chapter – raw, real, and storied. The exhibition is a tribute to the hotel, its history and the women – Ruth Kuhn and Joan Artiaga – who dared to dream within it. Open every Saturday and Sunday through May 31

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – Historic Tomé Jail and Casita – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.

Jewelry Show – 11am-5pm – Tomé Art Gallery – Tomé Art Gallery, 2930 N.M. 47, Tomé, will hold a Jewelry Show from May 4-31, with an opening reception from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, May 4. All kinds of jewelry, included beaded, silver, fused glass and more. The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week.
