Belen Community Blood Drive – 9am-1pm – Belen Fire Department – On Friday, May 30th, 2025, from 9am – 1pm there will be a Community Blood Drive held at the Belen Fire Department. To schedule an appointment call Nick at 505-400-9666click on this link, or you may scan the QR code on the flyer below.

Kids Skewer Sculpture Workshop – 10am-1:30pm – Wilma’s Wearable Art – Come create an amazing art sculpture out of skewers, wood, paper, and paint! All you need is your imagination to create something fun and unique at my workshop! Ages 9-12

Jewelry Show – 11am-5pm – Tomé Art Gallery – Tomé Art Gallery, 2930 N.M. 47, Tomé, will hold a Jewelry Show from May 4-31. All kinds of jewelry, included beaded, silver, fused glass and more. The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week.

Spring Festival 2025: Rio Communities – 9am-3pm – Rio Communities City Hall – Rio Communities Spring Festival. Kids Corner, Car and Motorcycle show, food trucks, craft show, OutLaw 505 country band, DJ, all day food trucks. Starts at 9am

RCFD Auxiliary Car Show – 9am-2pm – Rio Communities City Hall – May 31st! Come out to the city’s handcrafted market and see (or bring) some cars! All categories, spring event car show. $25 per vehicle, cars, trucks, 4×4, kids category, motorcycles, and more. 9am – 2pm at Rio Communities City Hall. 8am Roll-in time. Guitar Lessons for Kids – 10am-12pm – Belen Public Library – Guitar lessons are offered at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the Belen Public Library. Lessons are also free and open to the public, ages 5-15. Guitars are available for children to use during the lessons, and to check-out so they can practice at home.

The Spirit Lives: No Vacancy – 12pm-5pm – Studio 508 – The Spirit Lives: No Vacancy The GRID Gallery presents a photographic exhibition of The Kuhn Hotel curated by Megan Malcom-Morgan and featuring artists, Joanne Ladisa and Jerah R. Cordova. 

This exhibition is the epilogue of the hotel’s voluminous life. The exhibition features photographs that capture the historic Kuhn Hotel (1913-2025) in its final chapter – raw, real, and storied. The exhibition is a tribute to the hotel, its history and the women – Ruth Kuhn and Joan Artiaga – who dared to dream within it. Open every Saturday and Sunday through May 31.

“Moana” Movie Marathon – 1-4pm – Belen Public Library – The Belen Public Library is hosting 3 movies as part of their Summer Reading Program.

Charcuterie Class – Fundraiser for H2 Academics – 2-4pm – Well’s Fargo Building 4th Floor – Join us for a fun and simple charcuterie Workshop! This event will be a fundraiser for some programs at H2 academics including the teen entrepreneurship club and the suicide prevention Club.

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – Historic Tomé Jail and Casita – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
