Friday, June 6th

Vacation Bible School (Our Lady of Belen) – 9am-12pm – St. Mary’s Catholic School – Our Lady of Belen will hold its Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon, June 2-6, at St. Mary’s Catholic School, 101 N. 10th St., Belen. The fee is $20 per child. The deadline to register is Thursday, May 29.

Walk-in Computer Assistance – 10am–5pm – Belen Public Library – Walk-in Computer Assistance is available for anyone that needs help with their computer or smart phone! All help is free. Book a 30-minute appointment with the circulation desk.

Comics Workshop hosted by 7000 BC Comics – 11am-1pm – Belen Public Library – Join us for an All Ages Comics Workshop hosted by 7000 BC Comics.

Painting Event “Moth Beauty” – 1pm – Wilma’s Wearable Art – This textured art painting session is geared towards our teenagers from ages 13–17. It’s this Friday, so sign up asap with Wilma at (505)514-6242 because spots will fill up quickly. 

Mountain of Miracles: Where God’s Love is Rock Solid – 5:30-8pm – Belen Seventh-Day Adventist ChurchA Vacation Bible School Program available to kids 5-12 and/or grades K-6. At this Vacation Bible School kids will explore Mountain of Miracles, a place where God’s love is rock solid! They’ll love learning more about Jesus through Bible stories from the story of Elijah. Five days of Christ-centered activities will help kids see that God is always with us.

Saturday, June 7th

Guitar Lessons for Kids – 10am-12pm – Belen Public Library – Guitar lessons are offered at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the Belen Public Library. Lessons are also free and open to the public, ages 5-15. Guitars are available for children to use during the lessons, and to check-out so they can practice at home.

Sing Hymns, Gospel Preached – 3-8pm – Anna Becker Park – Sing hymns and hear the gospel preached Saturday, June 7, at Anna Becker Park in Belen. At 3 p.m., “Shall I Crucify your King?” At 4 p.m., “What Shall I do with Jesus?” At 6:30 p.m., “Can Faith Save Him?” At 7:30 p.m., “Why are you Waiting?”

Sunday, June 8th

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – Historic Tomé Jail and Casita – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
