Friday, June 27th

Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic – 7am-5pm – Belen Business Center – The Spay/Neuter Clinic will be held June 27, 28, and 29, 2025 all day at the Belen Business Center.

  • Spay/neuter surgery BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! To request a surgery appointment, scan this QR code and fill out the form or EMAIL rezdawgrescue@gmail.com or TEXT 720-706-8810 and include: your name, phone number, town and EACH pet’s info: cat/dog, age, approximate weight, breed, and age (must be between 12 weeks to 7 years) and any health concerns.
  • Clinic will be held in a drive-up fashion. Please keep your pet in your car until it is their turn. Bring previous vaccination records, if available. Bring cats in a carrier for their safety and ours.
  • Surgery cost for cats and dogs: $95/cat and $125/dog Can’t afford the fee? Please ask us about financial assistance.
  • Includes: brief exam, surgery, a cone, pain meds, and rabies vaccine. FREE DAPPv vaccine included for canines and FREE HCP vaccine included for felines sponsored by Petco Love. FREE microchip sponsored by Petco Love Lost.
  • Extra Services: $25 microchip, $20 Bordetella, $10 dewormer, and $15 flea/tick prevention medication while supplies last.

Viva Skydive Canopy Coaching with Izzy’s Wing – 8am-6pm – Viva Skydive – Stevie Simpson will be at the drop zone for the weekend offering free canopy coaching. Friday and Saturday to any licensed skydiver interested in improving their skills. Message us here and contact Viva Skydive for more information

Walk-in Computer Assistance – 10am–5pm – Belen Public Library – Walk-in Computer Assistance is available for anyone that needs help with their computer or smart phone! All help is free. Book a 30-minute appointment with the circulation desk.

Artists’ Perspective History and Culture of New Mexico – 10am-5pm – Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts – The Belen Art League will present Artists’ Perspective History and Culture of New Mexico show at the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts from June 14th – July 26th. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 2-4pm, refreshments will be served. Museum hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.

NM Museum of Natural History – 11am-1pm – Belen Public Library – Join us for a presentation by the NM Museum of Natural History!

Belen Farmers’ Market – 4:30-7pm – Anna Becker Park – The 2025 Farmer’s Market begins June 13, and will open every Friday throughout October 4:30-7:00 at Anna Becker Park

Matilda the Musical – 7pm – Belen High School Auditorium – Presented by The Hub Community Theatre Shows are every day Wed-Saturday at 7pm AND matinees at 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket Prices

Guitar Lessons for Kids – 10am-12pm – Belen Public Library – Guitar lessons are offered at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the Belen Public Library. Lessons are also free and open to the public, ages 5-15. Guitars are available for children to use during the lessons, and to check-out so they can practice at home.

Rainbow Walk – 3-6pm – Becker Ave. between 2nd & 3rd Streets – 5th Annual Rainbow Walk at the intersection of 2nd Street and Becker. 3M’s experimental art practices make use of the temporality of time and space to create ephemeral experiences. Sky bound, but ground destined color will unfold as a rainbow on the street.

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – Historic Tomé Jail and Casita – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
