Free After-School Tutoring at the Moose – 3:30-5pm – La Merced Moose Lodge – The La Merced Moose Lodge is offering free after-school tutoring for students, K-12, from 3:30-5 p.m. on Fridays, at the lodge, 306 Rio Communities Blvd. Certified teachers will provide help in math, reading, science and social studies. El Corazon de Belen Community Garden Work Day – 9am – El Corazon de Belen Community Garden – Here’s your chance to help spruce up a corner of downtown Belen. The Downtown Partnership is hosting a work party this Saturday in this public pocket park. Weeding, cleaning, painting, and laying gravel are some of the activities planned.
