Community BBQ – 11am-2pm – Valencia County Detention Center – Join the Valencia County Detention Center’s VMAT team for a community BBQ from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, July 24, at VCDC, 436 Courthouse Road, Los Lunas. The event will provide free food, an introduction to local vendors and Valencia County resources, as well as booths from local and surrounding recovery centers. Learn about recovery efforts offered at the detention center, play some fun games and connect with supporters in the community.

Student Art Show – 12-5pm – The Belen Art League is displaying paper mache creations of students from La Promisa and Central elementary schools. The public is invited support our community’s young artists and come view their masterpieces. The student exhibit is being held through July 24 at the Belen Art League Gallery and Gifts, 509 Becker Ave. Belen. The gallery is open noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday.

Belen Farmers’ Market – 4:30-7pm – The 2026 Belen Farmer’s Market opens June 12, 2026 through October 30 2026.
Market day and time: Friday 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM Location: Anna Becker Park.

Free Summer Concert Featuring the Michael Rascon Band – 6-8pm – Enjoy an evening of free live music, local shopping, and delicious food at Anna Becker Park! The Michael Rascon Band will perform on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs, gather with family and friends, and enjoy a relaxing summer evening in the park. While you are at the concert, be sure to visit the Belen Farmers’ Market and grab a bite from one of the food trucks on-site.

Adult Paint Night – 6-8pm – Bring your pals to Roadrunner Arts Hub for an adult painting class. Paint a beach scene on 16×20 canvas. This class is for adults only, located at 211 South Main St in Belen

Christmas in July Craft Fair – 9am-4pm – 01 Vista Del Rio Mobile Estates – Come join us we will have a food truck and snow cone vendor. Mark your calendar save the date!!!

Photography workshop – 1-4pm – The Belen Art League will be hosting a free photography workshop presented by the non-profit Center organization in Santa Fe. This workshop is scheduled between 1-4 p.m., Saturday, July 25, at the Belen Public Library, 333 Becker Ave. It is geared to help photographers learn ways to make money from their art. Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am-3pm – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
