Clay Play Day

Tomé Art Gallery will be hosting a Clay Play Day to kick off its annual Pottery Show from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, June 2. Bring the whole family, wear your old clothes and have some fun playing in the clay.

There will be demos of hand building, throwing on the wheel and the chance to try your hand at making something out of clay. Artists will also have tiles you can paint glaze on to be included in a mural on the side of the Tomé Art Gallery building. There will be light refreshments and fun for all ages.

The pottery show will run through July 3. The Tomé Art Gallery, 2930 N.M. 47, is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
