The Spirit Lives: No Vacancy – 12pm-5pm – Studio 508 – The Spirit Lives: No Vacancy The GRID Gallery presents a photographic exhibition of The Kuhn Hotel curated by Megan Malcom-Morgan and featuring artists, Joanne Ladisa and Jerah R. Cordova.
This exhibition is the epilogue of the hotel’s voluminous life. The exhibition features photographs that capture the historic Kuhn Hotel (1913-2025) in its final chapter – raw, real, and storied. The exhibition is a tribute to the hotel, its history and the women – Ruth Kuhn and Joan Artiaga – who dared to dream within it. Open every Saturday and Sunday through May 31

Monday, May 26th
Memorial Day Ceremony – 10am-12pm – Belen Eagle Park Veterans Memorial – The annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Belen Eagle Park Veterans Memorial will be held on Monday, May 26th starting at 10am. The event is planned by the Veterans Committee. Following the ceremony there will be a Flag Retirement by Secundino Baldonado American Legion Post 81. Live Country Music will be provided by Plumb Adequate, the music is sponsored by the Cultural Enhancement for Valencia County Elders and a NM Arts Military mini-grant.
There will be refreshments served at the SPC. Henry Byrd III Visitor’s Center after the ceremony sponsored by AC Disposal, Charles Montoya.

Memorial Day Jarales – 12pm-1pm – Jarales War Memorial – The Secundino Baldonado American Legion Post 81 will hold a Memorial Day event at 12 p.m., Monday, May 26, at the Jarales War Memorial, 426 Jarales Road.
