Friday, February 9th

Teen Club – DJ Day – Back to the 80s Party! – 2pm – 4:30pm at the Belen Public Library

Teens 12-19, the library is the place to be this Friday @2:30! We’re going to be playing 80’s music. Request your favorite song as you browse books or check out the arcade and play a game of Pac-Man!

Special Orchestra Performance – 3:00pm – 4:30pm at the Belen Public Library

The Valencia County chapter of the New Mexico Special Orchestra performs on the second Friday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Belen Public Library, 333 Becker Ave. in Belen.

Saturday, February 10th

Valentine’s Craft Fair – 9am – 3pm at the Tome Dominguez Community Center and Museum

A Valentine’s craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Tomé Community Center, 2933 N.M. 47. There will be crafts and treats.

Valentine’s Lovers Afternoon Special Concert – 12pm – 2pm at the Belen Public Library

Come and enjoy the amazing music from Debra Dockens. The feeling and emotion Debra communicates through her music will be an inspiration for your holiday celebration! This special concert is FREE and will be held at the Belen Public Library on Saturday, February 10th from 12pm – 2pm.

Open Meeting – Valencia Community Action Network – 3pm – 5pm at the Meadowlake Community Center

The Valencia Community Action Network, a local nonprofit, will hold an open meeting from 3-5 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month at the Meadow Lake Community Center, 100 Cuerro Lane.

Sunday, February 11th

Historic Tome Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm at the Historic Tome Jail

The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
