NFL Flag Registration is Open! – Through Oct. 3rd – Registration is open for the Belen Community Center NFL Flag Football Fall League 2026! This league is for boys and girls ages 6–12!

Tome Gallery Pottery Show – 11am-5pm – Tome Art Gallery – Put your gardening gear on and come visit the Tome Gallery’s “All Around the Garden” Pottery show!!! The show opens on July 26th through September 5th! The opening and activities are August 8th from 9:30am – 4pm. It’ll be fun!!
Call Out for Artists – Through Sept. 11th – Belen Art League – The Belen Art League is holding its Fall Art Show open to all artists. The show is from Sept 12-26. To receive an entry form, email the BAL at belenartleague1@gmail.com or pick one up from the gallery at 509 Becker Ave., Belen.
Frito Pie Night! – 4-7pm – Rio Communities Fire Station – For a suggested donation of $5, stop by and grab a frito pie and a beverage!
Belen Farmers’ Market – 4:30-7pm – The 2026 Belen Farmer’s Market opens June 12, 2026 through October 30 2026.

Craft Your Own Candle with Shroom Studio – 5:30-7:30pm – Dough Daddy’s Delights – Calling ALL ADULTS! we didn’t forget you! This evening of candles is just for you! Being a friend, bring a date, bring yourself! Either way it goes you will have a magical time inside of Shroom Studios workshop creating your own candle sipping mocktails and enjoying some fine finger foods! Time is ticking and sign ups are limited!
Space is limited, we have supplies for only two people at a time. When you call to reserve your spot, we’ll give you a 30-minute time slot so you can enjoy making your candle without feeling rushed. Tomé Farmers Market – 9am-12pm – Tomé Dominguez Community Center – The Tomé Farmers Market is held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Saturday until October at the Tomé Dominguez Community Center and Museum, 2933 N.M. 47 in Tomé.
5th Annual Anthony’s Art in the Park – 11am-3pm – Anna Becker Park – We have lots of different vendors selling their amazing art and creations. We also have space for retail vendors. We look forward to seeing you all this year.

Belen Police Department Physical Fitness Testing – 8am – Belen High School – The Belen Police Department will hold physical fitness testing for qualified applicants age 21 and older on Sunday, September 6, at 8 a.m. at Belen High School. Testing includes a 1.5-mile run, 300-meter sprint, sit-ups and push-ups. Candidates must apply online at www.belen-nm.gov before participating. For questions, contact nicholas.lyle@belen-nm.gov.
Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am-3pm – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
