Walk-in Computer Assistance – 10am–5pm – Belen Public Library – Walk-in Computer Assistance is available for anyone that needs help with their computer or smart phone! All help is free. Book a 30-minute appointment with the circulation desk.
Artists’ Perspective History and Culture of New Mexico – 10am-5pm – Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts – The Belen Art League will present Artists’ Perspective History and Culture of New Mexico show at the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts from June 14th – July 26th. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 2-4pm, refreshments will be served. Museum hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.
Pastel Show – 12-5pm – Red Brick Building – The Pastel Society of New Mexico (PSNM) and the Belen Art League have partnered to bring a pastel exhibit to Belen through the month of July. This event is sponsored by the Belen Public Library. Admission is free and the building is air conditioned, allowing you to leisurely take in the exhibit in comfort. The show will be held at the Red Brick Building (old Bugg Lights building) at 513 Becker Ave. It will be open Tuesdays – Saturdays from noon – 5pm.
Poets Meet Painters: The Dream Explored – 1-3pm – Belen Public Library – Let your creativity soar as you immerse yourself in a fusion of words and colors at our upcoming painting and poetry event. Be captivated by the timeless essence of martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I have a dream” as you listen to poignant poetry and translate its message onto canvas. Unleash your imagination and let the words of a visionary fuel your artistic expression. Join us for an afternoon where art and poetry converge to inspire and uplift your soul. Belen Farmers’ Market – 4:30-7pm – Anna Becker Park – The 2025 Farmer’s Market begins June 13, and will open every Friday throughout October 4:30-7:00 at Anna Becker Park
Belen Summer Concert Series – Odd Dog – 7-8:30pm – Becker Ave. Gazebo – The city of Belen will be hosting a free Summer Concert Series through July. Each show runs from 7-8:30 p.m., and features local bands and food trucks. Bring your lawn chairs, family and friends. Odd Dog (jam band) will perform on Friday, July 25, at Becker Avenue Gazebo in Belen.

Guitar Lessons for Kids – 10am-12pm – Belen Public Library – Guitar lessons are offered at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the Belen Public Library. Lessons are also free and open to the public, ages 5-15. Guitars are available for children to use during the lessons, and to check-out so they can practice at home.

EXPLORE THE MAGIC OF CREATING ART USING SOFT PASTELS – 12-2pm – Red Brick Building – The Belen Public Library, in collaboration with the Belen Art League and the Pastel Society of New Mexico, is excited to present a hands-on afternoon of art, creativity, and community on Saturday, July 26 at the historic red brick building at 513 Becker Avenue.
